Reds

Our vertically integrated Amaize® red is an anthocyanin source that checks all the right boxes for a vibrant red color with a responsible supply chain. Or choose from a wide selection of additional red sources including beet, radish, elderberry, black carrot, or carmine.

Amaize® Red

Amaize® red is an anthocyanin color from purple corn that is grown in North America. It is gently extracted using water, resulting in a simple label. It is the most cost-effective anthocyanin on the market and has transparency all the way back to the farmer. Amaize® red works great for reds in beverages, confections, fruit preps, and frozen novelties. As the pH of the application increases, the hue shifts toward purple tones. Certified Organic liquid and powder Amaize® red are available. Request a sample here.

Traditionally used in beverages, confections, and baking, it is one of the most widely used red colors in the market.
