Givaudan Sense Colour is hiring a Global Quality Scientist!
The Global Quality Scientist is to provide product technical support to the Sales, Science and Innovation, and Manufacturing Teams with existing and new caramel color and natural color products through the generation of responses to customer questions and questionnaire requests on a global basis. This person will maintain up to date documentation within internal and external customer systems. Additional duties require a focus on plant Quality topics to ensure quality product and product/process improvement efforts.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Uphold Givaudan Sense Colour Business Unit (SCBU) Mission Statement, Quality Policy, Values and Beliefs
  • Customer Documentation:
    • Complete global customer questionnaires and statements using established repository of data and prioritization guidelines, keep complete and accurate records of responses, and make improvements to this critical customer support system.
    • Monitor and update CSI, Vault/Portal, TraceGains and other customer documentation systems.
    • Collaborate with SCBU team on integration projects, coordination with our Givaudan colleagues
  • Regulatory Support:
    • Work with Regulatory Managers and Quality Managers of SCBU to ensure updated information is provided for specific customer inquiries both documentary and technical assistance.
    • Work with S&I Application and Innovation scientists to provide up to date raw materials and supplier information for the CSI database.
  • Quality Support:
    • Assist SCBU plant Quality managers with support on tasks to ensure GFSI standard maintenance and continuous improvement efforts
    • Internal auditing of manufacturing sites to ensure continued compliance with BRC, GMP and CBW standards/guidelines, where required.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Work with Global Quality Managers and Global Regulatory Director on identified strategic projects.
    • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities

Skill Requirements:

  • B.S. / B.A. in sciences required.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written; additional language capabilities a plus.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Service oriented approach to work.
  • Detail and accuracy oriented; Ability to prioritize multiple requests to maximize business impact.
  • Experience in industry with strong regulatory and quality requirements a plus.
