Efficiently manufacture liquid caramel colors in accordance with applicable procedures to specified quality standards.

You?

  • Located in Louisville, KY.
  • Responsible for producing liquid caramel colors according to approved formulations and procedures while meeting production goals within the Liquid Production area.
  • Operate the cartridge / line filters and maintain filtration log
  • Maintain cook sheets during processing.
  • Mass meter operation.
  • Control panel operation.
  • Responsible for housekeeping and sanitation of the liquid production area.
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance of liquid production equipment.
  • Issue materials and complete work orders in E1 system.
  • Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process.
  • Monitor the SO2 Scrubber
  • Troubleshoot issues with typical liquid operations
  • Create maintenance work orders and / or call in maintenance for equipment breakdowns
  • Apply fittings and steam lines to syrup railcars
  • Properly document incoming raw materials
  • Manually transfer finished product and / or raw materials using pumps or air pressure
  • Safely operate pressure vessels and critical equipment
