Efficiently manufacture liquid caramel colors in accordance with applicable procedures to specified quality standards.
You?
- Located in Louisville, KY.
- Responsible for producing liquid caramel colors according to approved formulations and procedures while meeting production goals within the Liquid Production area.
- Operate the cartridge / line filters and maintain filtration log
- Maintain cook sheets during processing.
- Mass meter operation.
- Control panel operation.
- Responsible for housekeeping and sanitation of the liquid production area.
- Responsible for preventive maintenance of liquid production equipment.
- Issue materials and complete work orders in E1 system.
- Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process.
- Monitor the SO2 Scrubber
- Troubleshoot issues with typical liquid operations
- Create maintenance work orders and / or call in maintenance for equipment breakdowns
- Apply fittings and steam lines to syrup railcars
- Properly document incoming raw materials
- Manually transfer finished product and / or raw materials using pumps or air pressure
- Safely operate pressure vessels and critical equipment
